My Story
I started stringing racquets because strings were lasting me only about 2–3 hours on the court. My racquet stringing costs were going through the roof, so I purchased a stringing machine and got a few years of experience stringing for myself and my hitting partners.
My professional stringing career began at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland, where I was a coach and the club's racquet technician while attending business school at the University of Maryland. I had the privilege of stringing for the University of Maryland Tennis Team, internationally ranked ITF juniors, and professional ATP & WTA Tour players.
I decided to put my tennis knowledge and experience to use by providing stringing services to Southern Maryland, where I strung hundreds of racquets for the local tennis community. Now based in Odessa, I'm happy to bring Birdman Strings to the Pasco County and Greater Tampa Bay tennis community. Growing up, I had a knowledgeable stringer who made a real difference in my game. Now I get to do the same for yours.
